Integrative and Thai Massage

Your Choice: Thai Mat or Massage Table

Are you ready to receive a customized massage in the comfort of your own home? I bring everything needed to create a calming, supportive space where your body can settle, soften, and breathe a little easier.

I’ve studied Swedish and Thai massage techniques, along with trigger point therapy, and I often blend them into what I call integrative massage - a flexible approach that meets your body exactly where it is that day.

You have two options for how you'd like to receive:

  • On a massage table → book an Integrative Massage

  • On a traditional Thai floor mat → book a Thai Massage

If you’re unsure, here’s a breakdown to help you choose the setup that feels right for you.

Thai Massage (Floor-Based on a Thai Mat)

Thai massage is a deeply nurturing practice that blends acupressure, gentle stretching, and rhythmic compression to help release tension and support a sense of balance throughout your body. Many people experience it as both relaxing and energizing - a kind of “supported movement meditation.”

What to know about Thai sessions:

  • They happen on a cushioned floor mat.
This setup requires more space. If I'm visiting your home, please make sure there's room to spread out and move around you comfortably.

  • Mobility matters.
You’ll need to be able to get on and off the floor. If that feels difficult, we can absolutely adapt the session or choose the massage table instead.

  • Fully clothed & cozy.
Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing so we can work with gentle movement and assisted stretches.

  • Adaptable to you.
Thai massage can be customized for folks with chronic pain, mobility considerations, or specific needs. If needed, I can even adapt aspects of Thai work for the massage table, just let me know what you need.

After Thai sessions, clients often report feeling relaxed yet energized, grounded, and more connected to their bodies.

Integrative Massage (Table-Based)

Integrative massage brings together all the tools in my toolbox: Swedish techniques, Thai-inspired movement, and trigger point therapy, all delivered from the comfort of a traditional massage table.

What to know about table sessions:

  • They’re generally more accessible.
Getting on and off the table tends to be easier for most folks.

  • Smaller space required.
The table footprint is more compact than the Thai mat, so it’s often a better fit for cozy homes and small rooms.

  • Ideal for focused attention.
Great if you’d like steady, supported work on specific areas like your shoulders, hips, or back.

Integrative massage is a wonderful choice if you want a blended, adaptable session without needing to work on the floor.

Not Sure Which One Fits You Best?

No worries, you don’t have to figure it out alone. Just tell me about your space, your mobility needs, and the type of experience you’re hoping for. Together, we’ll choose the setup that feels most comfortable and supportive for your body.

“I highly recommend Rising for the experience she offers. I have experienced back, neck, and sciatic pain for years. Not only did she customize the body work session for my specific needs to ensure I was comfortable, her hands intuitively honed in on places on my body that were in serious need of attention and release. I could feel the healing intention radiating through her as she worked on me, and I left in less pain and felt lighter.”
